Ex: Studies have shown that more than 40% of teenagers in North America are involved in substance abuse.  During the development stage, teenagers often engage in impulsive activities because they want to change their state of being.  This can sometimes involve harmful activities such as drugs and alcohol.  It is important to investigate the negative effects of substance usage and teenagers and how it can be prevented.  Specifically, the discussion will be around the effects of peer pressure and usage, the health consequences and alternate ways of keeping teenagers busy.
